Sylvain Juteau of roulezelectrique.com was one of the lucky few to get a rare Founder Series Tesla Model X and that in a ‘Signature Red‘ color but he accidentally crashed it into a stone wall last Thursday.
He was alone in the car at the time of the incident and was not injured in any way due to the fact that Model X is one of the safest SUVs on the planet. A Founder Series vehicle from Tesla is a fully loaded rare piece that is available at launch to limited people including Elon Musk, exclusive investors and Tesla owners with most referrals.
Juteau probably got this limited Model X because of him winning several successful referrals. According to Juteau this was the only Founder Series Model X in Canada therefore the damage to the vehicle has caused him more heartache and damaged his morale.
The damaged Model X was later towed to Bugatti of Montreal the only Tesla certified body shop in Québec for an evaluation. Juteau hopes it’s not declared totaled and remains repairable as it is a unique gem and would be a future ‘vintage car’.

One of the Founder Series Tesla Model X was bought by Ford Motor Company for $200,000 (Bloomberg Reported) to dissect it and expand their R&D on the Electric and Self Driving vehicles. Ford actually paid a whopping $55,000 on top of the market price to get their hands on the limited edition Model X.
